What is asphalt milling?
Milling uses a machine to grind off the top 1-2 inches of cracked asphalt, leaving the solid base intact so we can pave a fresh layer on top.
How thick should the stone base be?
A standard residential driveway requires at least 4 to 6 inches of compacted stone base to properly support the asphalt above it.
Why did my old driveway get wavy and sink?
Waviness or sinking is caused by a failing sub-base. This happens when contractors don’t dig deep enough or fail to compact the soil and stone properly.
Can you install speed bumps in our parking lot?
Yes, we can pave custom asphalt speed bumps and paint them with reflective safety striping for commercial properties.
Do I need to be home while you pave?
No, as long as the work area is clear of vehicles and we have access to the site, you do not need to be present during the installation.
